I wanted to exist.

Most of these started as an itch. A sampler that let me chop a loop the way I actually work; a pattern generator for acid lines; a way to run incidents from a phone without three tabs open. I built them, then kept using them.

Everything here is self-hosted and running now — no waitlists, no sign-up wall. Click any of them and you get the real thing.

Grid scrolls both ways — A and B are the two halves of one 32-step pattern

Part
Sound

Two machines, 32 steps each — A and B are the first and second half of one pattern, and it plays straight through both, as the hardware does. Samples plays recordings of the real machines: the 808 set is Michael Fischer's, released CC0; the 909 was recorded by the author of Detroit-909 from his own hardware, MIT. Synth models the circuits instead — bridged-T resonators for the drums, and on the 808 one bank of six square oscillators for everything metallic.
